Honda Accord facelift comes to Geneva

Honda will launch at the Geneva Motor Show the Accord, which has undergone a facelift to make minor changes to the inside forextra comfort, and reduced consumption.

The current generation, placed on sale in 2008, received a newgrille with chrome accents, lights have been refreshed and benefitfrom bi-xenon headlamps with Active Cornering Lights technology.

Also, have added new shades of the body: Alabaster Silver,Graphite and Celestial Blue Pearl Lustre. The cabin comes withnew materials for the seats and door panels. Major changes arereserved only for Type-S version, which gets mixed upholstery:leather, fabric, metal inserts the hand brake.

Honda Accord facelift is powered by the same i-DTEC diesel engine that develops 150 hp and 350 Nm of torque, but now issubject to Euro 5 pollution standards. After having undergonechanges to the SRB, CO2 emissions fell by 9 g / km, incombination with manual transmission, and 11 g / km for theautomatic transmission variant.

Onset of the European markets will be held starting April this year.
